Royale ruleset game with the latest Royale stuff. This is the 2nd game played with Royale and it is supposed to make the game harder for the experienced players while making it more playable for the new people. Square tiles, Start in April 29th very very likely since we most likely will have enough player by then - or the game can be started with at least very close to 10 players. Continents.

In short Royale has 50% smaller empire sizes. Some wonders have been changed into city wonders instead of havingempire wide effect. There are also mechanics making the game more easy to the newcomers and more hard for the experienced people. Basically more civ building instead of optimizations. Some changes were made to the tech tree making it more easy to fight with submarines. Nukes are now a real wild card and the good players need to think twice before doing those since even the first unique nuke is now quite usable becoming available with steel and has 9 moves by default. No more need to get advanced flight before moving the nukes.

The game length is also more fixed with very very high final tech costs (one space tech costs 45 000 bulbs) but with a failback mechanism allowing the game to end in time. This means that the players will get an extra research boost every 10 turns starting from T100 and the boost keeps increasing for a long time. Royale is based on LTT ruleset but with many changes and basically only one new unit.
